| The Present Prefect Continuous Tense * Formation : has been / have been + (-ing) form of the verb.
* Usage : an action began in the past, still going on and may continue in the future.
* Words used with the tense : since - for - etc.

Examples * Put in the correct tense of the given verbs:
1- I (live ) here since 1970.
* I have been living here since 1970.
2- Lunch is not quite ready yet, although I ( cook ) all morning.

3- That book ( lie ) on the table for weeks. ? You ( not read ) it yet ?
* That book has been lying on the table for weeks. Why haven't you read it yet ?
4- I ( not see ) you for a long time.
* I haven't seen you for a long time.
5- He ( learn ) English for three years.
* He has been learning English for three years.
6- You already ( drink ) three cups of tea since I ( sit) here.
* You have already drunk three cups of tea since I sat here.
